Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs)
From July 2012 the European Union’s Undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) directive required managers of authorised UCITS funds to produce Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs). A KIID is a two-page, pre-sale document providing investors with a simple summary of a fund and relevant share classes, including highlighting the key risks involved.
